Fireworks
At TheLadders, our UX group uses Adobe Fireworks to create wireframes and prototypes. By taking advantage of Firework's symbol functionality, we are able to develop wireframes that more closely reflect the site's look and feel in production. Symbols also allows us to create a library of reusable components, which can be shared among the group to use when developing new applications.

Fireworks Prototyping
In addition to enhancing the wireframe process, Fireworks enables rapid prototyping. By developing prototypes quickly, we are able to conduct usability testing and solicit user feedback on a more frequent basis and better refine the end design. Providing prototypes to the Development team also minimizes the amount of documentation needed to communicate interaction rules and site behavior.
